Closing Time...

...every new beginning comes from 

another beginning's 

end

The time has finally come! We signed all the paperwork today and officially closed! It took about an hour, and everything went off without a hitch. Upon reflection, we can definitely say this experience has been absolutely flawless. NVR was prompt, all information provided was accurate and our home is just perfect. We are so thankful to Ryan Homes for making our dream of owning an affordable home in the area a reality. We are just shocked. 

Tomorrow is moving day! I unfortunately have to go to work because we have some big things going on, but luckily we have Arthur, my mom and grandma here to watch over the movers. 

After we closed we found an amazing mattress at the local Mattress Discounters. We were prepared to have to sleep in the guest room while we waited to find the perfect bed, but we lucked out today and found a great mattress, and a beautiful gray bed frame! Yay for sleeping on an actual bed instead of a mattress on the floor (which Arthur says we are too old for haha). 

We took Mom and Nene to the house to show them the final product, and got to take a few pictures to memorialize this milestone in our lives!

Then we popped some champagne to celebrate!

From now on we will be using this blog to show our family and friends small home projects we complete to make our home less 'cookie cutter'.  Thank you to everyone for sharing in this journey with us!
